Socialite Bridget Achieng has revealed she can no longer return to Kenya since her passport has been blocked. She said she risks getting arrested should she leave the UAE country over trafficking allegations.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, the mother of one shared: “I cannot enter Kenya because my passport is blocked. I am stuck in Turkey. If I enter Kenya, I will be arrested. It’s not like I cannot go to Dubai or anywhere else. But I am like, why waste time instead of making sure I follow up on this case and go pick my son and go to a better country?”
In 2022, the former Nairobi Diaries star was implicated in a human trafficking case in Turkey. She was accused of luring several women to the Middle Eastern country with promises of jobs, only for them to allegedly end up trafficked for sex—a claim she strongly denied. She explained that the case is still ongoing in court.
Back in 2019, Alikiba addressed rumours that he had dated Bridget, clarifying to the press during the launch of his new song with Christian Bella that she was “just a fan.” He added, “I received her as a fan. She is not the only one who has my tattoo, there are many others.”
In a past interview on Radio Jambo, Bridget had hinted at having dated the musician. “I have like 10 tattoos and no regrets. I still even have one for my ex over here King Kiba. This is my past and I can’t do anything about it. We parted ways because we had different paths. I was fast and him being a Swahili he was slow,” Bridget shared.
Bridget Achieng also revealed a personal aspect of her family life, discussing a difficult moment with her baby daddy. “When you asked me to terminate my pregnancy when I was three months pregnant I was all alone, disturbed and depressed. I don’t know what made you go away, I don’t know what made you run away. I kept looking at myself in the mirror and asking ‘Am I ugly?’ I’m doing this because a lot of girls out there need to hear it,” she said.
