Comedian Mulamwah’s ex-lover Carrol Sonnie has opened up about the comedian’s relationship with her daughter Keilah during an interview with Jeff Kuria. This is in response to persistent questions about their status following their bitter fallout.
“My relationship with my daughter is perfect. His relationship with her is fine,” Sonnie laughed in response to Jeff’s inquiry about Mulamwah’s involvement with Keilah, who is almost three years old.
When pressed to clarify what “fine” meant, Sonnie reiterated, “It’s okay,” prompting Jeff to probe further about the father-daughter relationship.
“It’s okay,” Sonnie repeated, deflecting Jeff’s suggestion that it might not be satisfactory.
She also addressed the public scrutiny she faced for initially denying Mulamwah access to their child, which sparked a heated online dispute. Reflecting on her decision, Sonnie expressed regret, acknowledging the emotional challenges she faced as a young mother.
“Yeah, I think as a human being, you get upset and make rushed decisions. Regarding the child, those are things he knows. He knows what he did, he knows what he is doing, and he knows what he needs to do,” Sonnie explained.
She recounted the difficulties she faced during that time, including rejection, bullying, and online trolling directed at her and her baby. Despite involving their parents in attempts to resolve their differences, they were unable to reach an agreement.
Sonnie has since moved forward and is now in a new relationship. She expressed happiness in finding love again while focusing on advancing her personal brand.
