Award-winning actress Jackie Matubia dominates timelines across all social media after her tell-all interview with Dr Ofweneke.

The mother of two opened up about her failed marriage which she says broke before it even began. According to her, all the signs of the union not working were there from the beginning although she went forward with her proposal.

Their relationship had initially become public through a short film titled ‘Baby Number 2’ in February 2022, where Matubia revealed Lung’aho was the father of her unborn child.

The couple’s real-life romance mirrored their roles in the local drama ‘Zora,’ where they portrayed characters Nana and Madiba, depicting a tumultuous love story.

However, in July 2023, she publicly announced her breakup with actor Blessing Lung’aho, her baby daddy, after nearly two years of dating. She captioned a photo of herself with, “Proud single mother of two,” confirming the split which had been the subject of numerous speculations.

Jackie Matubia narrates how she begged her baby daddy renowned actor Blessings Lung’aho to be a present father to their daughter in vain, bringing her resentment.

She said she resented her secondborn daughter Zendaya since she felt she let her down and failed her miserably as she was again unable to pick the right father for her.

“In the house, I was not resenting my second daughter, Zendaya, because I hated her; I was resenting her because I felt I did not learn from my previous mistake. I ended up choosing for her a father that did not like her. People used to insult me; I wish they knew,”.

According to Matubia, she is currently in a good place – co-parenting with her first baby daddy, while her relationship with her second baby daddy is still rocky.
