Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages in several regions of the nation. The company said in a statement issued on Tuesday night that the power blackout was due to maintenance.
The following list includes the three counties that the power outages will impact:
Nairobi County:
Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Affected Areas: Pangani Shopping Centre, Algoid Road, Chai Road, Jubilee House, Parts of Parklands Road, Ojijo Road, Shivachi Road, Maratha Road, MP Shah Hospital, parts of Mpaka Road, Maua Close, Morven Pack Hotel, Victoria Courts, IVREA Sisters, Mayfair Casino, Lotto’s Inn, One West Park, West Point Building, Total Parklands, Parklands Police Station, Crown Paints, and adjacent customers.
Tharaka Nithi County:
Time: 8:30 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.
Affected Areas: Mikuu, Gituntu, Ntuibu, Kindu, Ngaita Girls, and adjacent customers.
Kisumu County: Area:
Time: 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. Affected Areas: Chiga Market, Wilder, Nyamonge School, Kasese, Kalusi, Kochieng Center, Masawa, Obumba, Aloo Umbi Secondary, and adjacent customers.
